The Robert Toigo Foundation was founded 18 years ago to encourage exceptional minority students to consider finance, not only as a rewarding career, but also as an opportunity to be the future leaders in the global economy. Our goal is ambitious: to create a self-sustaining structure that leverages finance as a vehicle to promote positive social change.

Each year we select the best and brightest minority business school students to become Toigo Fellows. Driven by the vision of an outstanding Board of Directors, the Toigo Foundation touches the lives of individuals who are determined to make a positive impact for themselves, their families and their communities. And with the combination of their professional potential and the Foundation’s support, they are led on a path emblazoned with advancement and success.

As Toigo Fellows become Alumni, they quickly ascend in their careers in every sector of the industry, helping to set the mark by which Toigo identifies the next generation of talent. Toigo Alumni are joining the leadership ranks of the industry, and even becoming successful entrepreneurs of their firms. These talented men and women are backed by a formidable network of like-minded corporations, financial institutions, industry thought leaders and visionaries. Their collective efforts, characterized by unparalleled volunteerism, engage the industry’s best to help us shape our programming and keep us informed of what impact our work is having throughout the business community. Because of the impression Toigo Alumni are making on the industry, the network of firms that support Toigo are also eager to mentor and hire the talent produced through the work of this organization. And with each year, as the number of Toigo Alumni entering the workforce grows and the network thrives and expands, so does our momentum, bringing with it an exponential increase in expertise, resources and visibility.
