Toigo Alumni are members of a remarkable group. They're distinguished,
having earned MBAs from the leading MBA programs in the country.
They are also members of a small, but exceedingly influential
group of close to 600 professionals, who are furthering the Toigo
mission, directly and indirectly, as they build their careers.
Their career paths are clearly leading toward summit territory. More
than 30% of Toigo Alumni hold positions of CEO, Managing Director,
Senior Vice President, or Vice President. As of 2007, 40 Alumni own
their own companies. All have tapped into the Foundation's network
as a vital resource: for capital, both financial and intellectual;
for talented employees, to enrich their teams and/or organizations,
and for counsel.
Beyond their impressive resumes, however, Alumni are committed activists
in their communities - bringing fresh ideas and energy to underserved
communities, creating micro- and macro-opportunities for economic
development, and acting, throughout the process, as luminous role models.
Alumni are also vital contributors to the Foundation. Many fomally coach
Fellows, provide outreach to potential MBA students and new donors, act
as eloquent spokespersons on behalf on behalf of the Toigo experience, and,
increasingly, are proving themselves to be highly effective fundraisers.
Toigo Alumni are also demonstrating leadership in their involvement in nearly
every facet of the Toigo Foundation. Alumni serve as Mentors and Coaches to current
Fellows; they organize and lead the activities of the RTF Alumni Association; they
lead their employers and colleagues to support the work of the Foundation
by inviting them to become contributors and volunteers; and now the Alumni
have representation on the Toigo Board opf Directors.
As members of the Board, Alumni are instrumental in guiding the strategic
vision of the Foundation by actively participating on Board committees.
The Alumni voice is strong, compassionate, and influential. The Foundation
is grateful for the input of their experience, perspective, and leadership.
